A has now received the results of all her 11+ exams, and we are absolutely delighted with how well she has done. She comfortably exceeded the cut-off scores for every grammar school she applied to and, based on her results, would have received unconditional out-of-catchment offers from Henrietta Barnett, Tiffin Girls’, Nonsuch, Wallington and Graveney. In the Wandsworth Test for Graveney, she achieved a perfect standardised score of 282. A has chosen to accept a place at Henrietta Barnett School.
We are incredibly grateful to Jess for all the support she gave A throughout her 11+ journey. Her teaching style, together with the flexibility of combining online and in-person lessons, meant that A was extremely well prepared for her exams. Jess was particularly good at identifying areas that needed improvement and putting together a clear, focused plan to address them.
A found working through practice papers and receiving Jess’s detailed and timely feedback incredibly valuable. This helped her understand where she could improve, become familiar with the demands of the different exams and, most importantly, approach them with confidence.
Jess was also a huge support to us as parents. She helped us understand what was expected at each stage of the 11+ process and worked closely with our family, adapting both the content and frequency of lessons as A progressed through Year 5 and approached her exams.

Jess has a very calm, nurturing manner and connects well with her pupils. Every session is careful tailored to the child to ensure it is engaging, interactive and fun. Both of our children enjoyed their tutoring sessions and their confidence grew across all subjects and especially in creative writing.

I am writing to share our sincere appreciation for the outstanding support Jessica has provided to our family over the past two years. She tutored our son, V, for his 8+ exams in 2024 and our daughter, A, for her 11+ exams in 2025, and her contribution to both of their successes has been exceptional.
Jessica worked closely with both children on comprehension and creative writing, helping them develop strong technical skills while also encouraging originality and clarity in their work. Beyond the tutoring sessions themselves, she went above and beyond by recommending and sharing high-quality mock papers and guiding us carefully through every stage of the preparation process. Between them, they received offers from Westminster, King’s College School Wimbledon, City of London, Godolphin and Latymer, Wimbledon High and Emanuel, including academic scholarship offers. Most importantly, both children secured places at their first-choice schools.
